I Can Fly

I Can Fly
a 10 minute monologue by Gary Sironen

"I Can Fly" is a ten-minute monologue for a teen actor of any gender or race. A young person talks about growing up in a world of secrets, which include being unique in a particular way. They consider questions of if, when and how to share secrets they've been encouraged to hide. This play is based on some of the author's personal experiences. In addition to performances, this play is also perfect for school forensics competitions (please contact author for permission).
